报告简介:Covert wireless communication has recently emerged as a new transmission technology to address privacy and security in wireless networks. In this talk, the key features of covert communication and various important design considerations will be clarified. Firstly, the differences between covert communication and the well-known physical-layer security are presented. Then, the optimal signalling strategies for transmitting the message-carrying signal and artificial-noise signal for covert communication will be discussed. In addition, some preliminary research results on multi-hop and intelligent reflecting surface (IRS)-aided covert communications will be introduced. Finally, some key challenges in the design of practical covert communication systems will be identified and future research directions in this context will be presented.
报告人介绍:Shihao Yan received the Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, in 2015. He received the B.S. in Communication Engineering and the M.S. in Communication and Information Systems from Shandong University, Jinan, China, in 2009 and 2012, respectively. From 2015 to 2017, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Research School of Engineering, The Australian National University, Canberra, Australia. He was a Research Fellow in the School of Engineering, Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia, from 2018 to 2021. He is currently a Senior Research Associate with The University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, and will join Edith Cowan University, Perth, Australia, as a Senior Lecturer in 2022. He has published 60 journal articles, out of which 15 are first-authored, and 38 conference papers. He is currently an Editor of Transactions on Emerging Telecommunications Technologies. He served as the TPC Chair of IEEE GlobeCOM'18 Workshop on Trusted Communications with Physical Layer Security and the Panel Member of IEEE VTC Spring Workshop on Positioning Solutions for Cooperative ITS. He was also the ANU student councilor of IEEE ACT section in 2017. His current research interests are in the areas of wireless communications and statistical signal processing, including physical layer security, covert communications, and location spoofing detection.

报告人介绍:李发根,电子科技大学计算机科学与工程学院(网络空间安全学院)教授,博士生导师,研究方向为密码学与网络安全。主持国家自然科学基金4项,其它科研项目10余项,在IEEE TIFS、IEEE TVT、IEEE TCC、中国科学:信息科学、计算机学报等国内外重要学术期刊和会议上发表论文160篇(被SCI检索120篇),获授权中国发明专利12项,出版专著2本、教材3本。获四川省学术与技术带头人后备人选、四川省海外高层次留学人才、爱思唯尔(Elsevier)中国高被引学者(网络空间安全学科)等荣誉。

报告人介绍:王一川,九三学社社员,博士,西安理工大学计算机科学与工程学院副教授,硕士生导师,西安理工大学网络工程系主任,陕西省网络计算与安全技术重点实验室副主任,西安理工大学杰青。兼任中国计算机学会(CCF)高级会员,ACM会员,中国密码学会会员,CCF区块链专委会委员,中国人工智能学会会员,陕西省计算机学会网络空间安全专委会秘书长。先后主持国家自然科学基金青年项目和面上项目、陕西省重点研发计划项目、陕西省重点产业链项目(子项)、总装“十四五”预研项目、陕西省自然科学基金、陕西省教育厅自然科学专项等纵横向课题。发表SCI/EI检索论文五十余篇,申请发明专利二十余项。研究方向为系统脆弱性分析、可信计算,区块链安全等。
